DVD on fritz

My new (March 2003) computer's DVD is not working. Have
not had any problems before, but now no DVD works (I've
tried several). Tried to run diagnostics, but keep
getting a msg. to "insert DVD" when there's already one
in there. Any suggestions? Thanks,

Take it back and get the supplier to fix it under warranty. Try anything
else and you may not have a warranty...
