It's normal if your drive doesn't support that format. If you don't knowwhat formats your drive supports, go to the mfg site or google search for
it.

This is why most new drives being produced are dual format. You can pick up
a dual format burner these days for under £100. It doesn't make any sense to
buy a single format drive anymore.

Yes. + drives will only read + disks. - drives will onlyread - disks. +/- drives will read both.
