DVD's and updated version of Windows Media Player

I just recently updated my Windows Media Player. Now, when I play a DVD, I
have no sound at all. It worked before I updated to the latest version of
Windows Media Player.

You are now running which version? 10? If so, have you checked for any
updates to your dvd playing software? This supplies the codec to WMP to
enable it to play dvds. Check sound card updates as well. Also, does WMP
play anything else with sound?
