DVI display blurred???

Posted: 06-09-2006, 01:08 PM
Hello

I'm writing from Denmark, my english isn't perfect but i try anyway.

I've installed the ATI Radeon drivers for Vista, using my Radeon 9700PRO
display adapter!

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 913B with DVI support!

---

The display is blurred, and there is a purple shadow behind tekst displayed
in my browser as well as in Word!! I use the DVI connection, and with
Windows XP the image was much sharper!

Does anyone know anything about this issue?

First i used Vista's own display drivers, but the blurred picture where
there as well. I'v also tryed installing drivers for my Samsung monitor, but
without luck.

Kind regards
Mads Hofman Hansen

Look for either ClearType or other font anti-
aliasing tricks going on. Usually CT works
well on LCDs in their normal position. You
can disable this from (you'll find it).

Check the refresh rate. I have the 930B (with a 7 series Nvidia card) and
if I have the refresh rate at anything other than 60Mhz, it gets all blurry.
