Embedded MP3 Problem.

Hello,

- I have a problem here; and I hope somebody can fix it.

- I have problem playing embedded MP3 files. The related
application will crash a few second after it's opened. For
example, a screen saver created using "Picture and Sound
Show" (http://www.joeltechnologies.com/PSindex.html) will
run without the embedded MP3 sound, and then crash.

- Another example, a PowerPoint Slideshow with embedded
MP3 files will showed without the MP3 (MIDIs and WAV can
be played); then crashed. The slideshow created on another
PC using WinXP Pro & PowerPoint XP; tested on several PCs
& no problem found. The slideshow was viewed on my PC
(WinXP Home with SP1a) using PowerPoint XP and Powerpoint
Viewer 2003. (The viewer didn't crash; just no MP3 sound).

- I have reinstalled DirectX 9.0b, audio driver (latest
VIA Vinyl driver), WMP 9, Codecs, & everything I thought
related to my problem.
