Energysaver stops and starts

and an ADSL-connection to my ISP. I have begun to use the energysaver
in Xp and I'm using "Home- or Officecomputer". It works ok, after the
scheduled time the computer and display turns off ( or calms down). But,
after about 5 minutes, it starts up again without that anything happened as
far as I can see.
Then after the scheduled time it "calms" down again and after another 5
minutes it
starts up again. And so it goes, up and down. I'm not doing anything with
the computer during that time. Is there something in the OS or BIOS that does
something I don't know about? (Checks something regulary or so?)
