Epson 680 fails to print

Hi
Running XP pro SP3 IE 7. My standby printer Epson Color 680 fails to print.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled ,changed the cartridges, checked the
parallel interface to no effect. Selecting print the process appears to be
normal but a blank sheet results. Any suggestions please?
