Epson AP-4500 skipping lines

I was able to set this old dot matrix printer to have a
custom print size, but now it skips an extra line every
time the cartridge returns. I messed around with the
settings before and was able to get it to print
correctly. However, when the computer is restarted, it
prints incorrectly again. I don't have a clue which
setting I messed with to make it print correctly, and I
really need to be able to print without setting it every
time. Please, please help me. (Before I thought it
might have something to do with setting the Font
Cartridges as Courier, but they were already set this
time, so that didn't help.)
