Epson C82 causes reboots

After installing Epson C82 Printer on my XP home system
the computer reboots every time it hits the desktop.
All XP patches have been applied.
No viruses.
New Hard Drive and Installation.
Epson driver does not appear in add/remove in safe mode.
System restore does not fix problem.
