Error at Installation Setupdd.sys could not be loaded

I just bought brand new computer and i pieced it all
together 2.4 pentium 4 with Asus mother board with a
geForce FX5200 by Asus and 512 of Kingston RAMM PC2700
i got Western DIgital hard drive 80 gig and when i boot
to Windows Xp it gives me right before setup runs
a "setupdd.sys could not be loaded. error 7 "i also tryed
loading window 2000 and same problem "ntkrnlmp.exe could
not be loaded. error code 4" i know these disks work i
used them before i also used a cd rom drive that i know
works and it did the same thing. any help would be awesome
