I have one newer and one older home PC with both running
the same version of XP-Home.
When I run Error-Checking on the older PC and there are
no errors, I get a message that the disk is clean and
then Windows starts automatically. However, on the newer
PC, the Error-Checking tool will complete its scan and
then start all over if I do not catch the end of the
cycle and press a key to manually stop the scan from
restarting. Could I have some underlying conflict that I
need to look for or could this be just a difference
between the two PC's? Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks
in advance.
