Error Code 0x80070035

Posted: 03-13-2007, 09:08 AM
I need some help here. I just bought two new HP Slimlines with Vista Home
Premium on both. I am trying to network my computers together, however I can
ping each but can't get a response back from them and I receive the error
code 0x80070035.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this issue, asap? I have been down for
3 days and am ready to take them all back.
Thanks for any help you are able to give.

Hi

First i am not a computer expert --- but

i had an internet problem sometime ago
phoned my ISP
and gave error details

now if i remember correctly

error messages 0X800????? are firewall issues

many on here have also used this to good effect to set
up networks

http://www.networkmagic.com/download/

you will need to install in both new boxes

also many found third party firewalls to be
a pain in the A and have had to remove them completly

cheers for now

Keith D.

Thanks, this helped. In my case it turned out to be that "File and
Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" was not turned on in Local
Area Connection Properties. . . .which is accessed thru going to
Network and Sharing center in the Control panel, selecting "Manage
network connections" from the tasks menu on the left, and then right
clicking and selecting "Properties" of the active network connection.

Hi,

I have problem when accessing shared folder on server. When I try to access
shared folder I recive this error:

"Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found."

OS on source computer is Windows Vista Home
OS on server is Windows 2000 Server

RDP to this server is working.

I have no problem when accessing shared folders on Unix/Linux or other
Windows server.
