| Trying to install software that on another XP installs without problem, however in a computer that has just recently crashed and the C drive had to be replaced and the OS reinstalled, I keep getting this error code 112. I checked the Knowledge Base and it gave a suggestion that cleanmgr be used. And as the saying goes, been there done that and still have the same problem. The problem resurfaced when I was installing NSW, had to finish installation though the CD. The curious thing is that when I checked with Norton windows doctor, it came back with a whooping 99 errors is 5 categories. Any suggestion would be appreciated. | Guest

14 days. You can manually remove the rest via Windows Explorer. If you type NET HELPMSG 112 in a command prompt window, you get "not enough space on disk." This message can be a bit of a red herring and often it is referring to an overflowing Temp folder instead of a lack of space on the hard drive. -- Sharon F MS-MVP/ Windows XP - Shell/User | Guest
