I've got the same error in trying to install the Service Pack 1 update.
Unfortunately I may have made the problem worse. I rather foolishl
downloaded a program called RegCure that was supposed to rewrite th
register files that supposedly were corrupt. It didn't work and I can'
get any response from the company that provided it

A pox on MicroSoft for even selling Vista. I sure hope we can replac
it soon. I've never had so many crashes of my computer, windows, or th
internet browser with any other OS
