You might take a look at this tutorial on how to install the Vista SP1 Release Candidate to see if there is anything you may have missed. Can you post a copy of the error message here? It would help to help you better with your problem. | I already had the pictures in my post. I think the Chinese meaning does not matter.(Because even I can't understand what it's talking about). AND I am sure I did not miss anything when I install the pack. The No. of the error information is (you can see it on my screen prints as well),"0*C004D401". I hope what I said is helpful to you. | Guest

| I googled this problem, and I found this http://forums.microsoft.com/Genuine/...6161&SiteID=25 I got the same error message, but I did not have any games in my computer use GameGuard. I think the SP1 has some bugs. It can NOT work well with some softwares. That's my conclusion. "Gloomy" <fangzheng26@gmail.com> дÈëÏûÏ¢ news:F17A04B9-A17C-48F0-A49B-0C67E3E7C551@microsoft.com... | Did you realize that the copy of SP1 you installed is a beta, pre-release version, and almost surely contains some bugs? Uninstall it. -- Richard G. | I want to, but I can't. Because I can not enter the uninstall frame to install it. The link of it doesn't work. EVEN the safe model. So I have no idea now. Because I found the backup that made by the ghost can not work as well. | Guest

If you have a Vista Express or Retail installation DVD, then you might consider doing a Repair or Clean install and forget the SP1 RC1 until the final version is released sometime in the first half of 2008. http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88...all-vista.html Shawn -- brink *There are no dumb questions, just the people that do not ask them.* WWW.VISTAX64.COM (\"HTTP://WWW.VISTAX64.COM\") *Please post feedback to help others.* | Guest

| I don't have the disk. I think I can find some ways to solve this problem after some tries. Maybe It'll be OK after I uninstall some softwares. I just want to report the bugs I found. That's why I install the SP1. Thank you all the same. | Guest
