Error Loggin on the Windows Mail

When I try to logon to Windows Mail I receive the following Error, I checked
settings, they are all correct, any suggestions?

Account: 'mail.bellsouth.net', Server: 'mail.bellsouth.net', Protocol:
POP3, Server Response: '-ERR An authentication mechanism MUST be entered',
Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18

0x800xxx90 and error 0x800CCC18 are password errors, I changed password
(somehow was corrupt) closed windows mail, opened mail error was gone.

Windows Mail is Outlook Express brother. They have the same settings for the
most part.

You should heck to see if Authentication is enabled when the ISP's email
server doesn't need it.
