Error Message - poor performance

When I boot my system, i get an error message that looks
exactly like this:

Error Loading

Error Loading C\PROGRA~1\NEWDOT~1\NEWDOT~2.DLL

The specified module could not be found

Since this has started my computer's performance,
especially when online has been VERY sluggish.

Any suggestion as to what the message means?????

Check Symantec for a virus that has newdot as a file.

This may be an application installed along with KaZaa file sharing
software.
