Default Error in "network and sharing center"

I can connect to the internet through wlan, but the status in the "Network
and sharing center" is not correct.
Between the icon wlan and the icon internet is a red x. It should just be a
green line. I try to diagnose it, and the computer wants to restart the
network adapter - which I do. But I still keep the red x.
Advice pls
