Error when trying to run a game...

I have a radeon 9600 and I have installed the newest radeon driver for beta
2, but when I try to run a game here I'm beeing told the following "Error:
Vulpine(R) Vision(TM) requires support for ARB_multitexture extension!
Please make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your 3D card!"
Sigh..

Are Atis drivers for xp way better than vista? Or are they just not
compatible enough?

i have a modified 9600 on one of my vista boxes. I havent had any trouble
yet running a game on it. Is your card a true ATI card? What game are you
tring to run?

It might be that the game which your trying to use, doesnt quite work with
DX10. Just wait for patch for game or compability patch for vista.

I think it's the OpenGL issue.
