| In one of my workbooks I have two worksheets with this problem which occurs using either copy & paste or fill: I have a formula in one cell that I want to copy to an adjacent cell and calculate the new result for that cell. Excel copies the formula correctly but instead of calculating the new value for the 2'nd cell it merely copies the value frome the 1'st cell. Is there a setting I can change to copy the formula and calculate the new value? | Guest

| Excel has nothing to do with windows XP and your question should be posted to the microsoft.public.excel newsgroup. But if you want to copy formulas, when you do the paste do a "paste special" and you will see that formulas is a choice.
