Does the system requirements say Vista is supported? Which CTP is it?

Do you have Office 2007 installed? The latest version of EWD won't install
if Office 2007 is installed. There will be technical refresh of Office 2007
shortly. EWD works fine in Vista. There is a EWD newsgroup
microsoft.public.expression.webdesigner A lot of people are having problems
installing the recent Beta 1 version. Posting some details in that group is
probably a good idea.

Thank you. I do have Office 2007 but the web site said that if I was using
the Technical Refresh I would be OK but this isn't the case.

I will check out the group. Thanks again.

Where did you get the Office technical refresh? I haven't seen it yet. I've
been waiting to install both Vista RC1 and EWD Beta 1 until the Office
refresh is available.

At some point as I was reading the instructions for Vista RC1 it said I would
have to have the Technical Refresh of Office '07 to run RC1 and pointed me to
the Office Online site. I paid $1.50, downloaded a file named OPPLUS-EN.EXE
and installed it into Vista and have been going right along with only a minor
Outlook lock-up rarely. I wondered if I had the Tech. Refresh but the
instructions said the DVD of Office beta 2 would not run and this did so I
guess I'm OK???

I went and found where I got my information;

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvist...y/preview.mspx

states about halfway down;

2007 Office System Beta 2 compatibility
If you are using 2007 Office system Beta 2 be sure to download the 2007
Microsoft Office system Beta 2 Technical Refresh, the most recent update.
(The Technical Refresh is required to use Office Beta 2 with Windows Vista
RC1.)

which has a link to;

http://www.microsoft.com/office/prev.../overview.mspx

and that is where I gave them $1.50, D/Led it and it is running.

Tell me I didn't D/L the same thing I have on DVD already?
