External Encrypted HDD on Vista Ult.

Posted: 12-12-2007, 04:29 PM
Dell M6300 with Vista Ultimate sees the Disk with 'Device Manager' and
automatically installed drivers for it... says it is working properly yet
'Disk Management' or 'Computer' will not list as storage device.

Works on Dell M90 with XP Pro...
neither computer has firewire 800 (getting card soon) so I'm using USB.
Vista (like XP) says the disk & the key USB controllers are working properly.

Emprex EC-M120 3.5" X-Wall Secure (40bit) external HDD with secure key and
firewire 800 / USB 2.0 ports.

Vista (like XP) says the disk & the key USB controllers are working properly.
