>> Here is an extract from the manual :
>>
>> You will not be able to download Purchased/Subscribed songs using Windows
>> Media Player 9
>>
>> to this unit. You need Windows XP with Windows Media Player 10.
>>
>> You will still be able download regular MP3 & WMA songs.
>>
>> 1.Start Windows Media Player 9 and connect unit to your computer.
>>
>> 2.Click Copy to CD or Device.
>>
>> 3.In the "Items to Copy" pane, in the drop-down list, click the play
>> list, category, or other item that you want to copy.
>>
>> 4.Clear the check boxes next to any files you do not want to copy.
>>
>> 5.In the "Items on Device" pane, in the drop-down list, click the device
>> that you want to copy files to.
>>
>> 6.Click the 'Copy' button.
>>
>> 7.Repeat steps 2-5 for any other items that you want to copy to your
>> unit.
>>

>>
>> When you right click on My Coputer then Explore, you will get a Windows
>> Explorer set up. It should be divided into 2 panes. The left one contains
>> the Folders, the right on the files. Your D drive should normally be your
>> DVD/CD drive - if you don't have a disk in it, then its normal nothing
>> happens. Your mp3 player should be E or another letter. If you have
>> another letter, then you could try dragging an mp3 file on to it and see
>> if it transfers.
>>> that said jerry, i was able to put some 80 or so songs into the mp3 last
>>> night, but i got to a point that, even tho' I still had over a GB of
>>> space left, it wouldn't allow me to move more songs over to it - here's
>>> the error message i got:

>>
>> This unfortunately does not help things. When XP or WMP runs into a
>> information, there is no easy way to solve it.
>>>>> Hey all,
>>>>>
>>>>> I am new to doing this, so bear with me.
>>>>>
>>>>> I had synced up the MP3 previously, moved all my music there. Then I
>>>>> changed, or thought I changed some tunes around - deleted some, added
>>>>> some - but then when I next turned it on, it said No File !
>>>>>
>>>>> Okay, somehow, I apparently deleted them all ? I didn't think so as I
>>>>> saw them all in the Right Pane, under the listed Device.
>>>>>
>>>>> Now when I hook it up again to take a look, I don't see my music list
>>>>> in the right pane, rather, I see a + sign & a lot of apparently,
>>>>> Chinese words! So I clicked on the + sign & see a lot of + signs,
>>>>> where my music was yesterday & more Chinese writing. SO I shut down
>>>>> WMP10, disconnected the MP3 & started over & again, I see the list of
>>>>> + signs & Chinese writing !
>>>>>
>>>>> NoW WhAt ?!?!
>>>>>
>>>>> Thanks very much !
>>>>>
>>>>>
>>>> OK, here we go.
>>>>
>>>> You don't state what type of mp3 payer you have so its going to be a
>>>> stab in the dark.If its a drag and drop type then go on bleow. If its a
>>>> proprietry brand (Apple, Phillips etc) then you'll probably need
>>>> specific software to load the songs - as in the case of an iPod, for
>>>> example.
>>>>
>>>> Right click on My Computer > Explore > then the following : Tools >
>>>> Folder Options > View > then click on Show Hidden Files and Folders >
>>>> Apply > OK. (Note : to hide Hidden files, click on the roundel abve
>>>> "Show Hidden .... etc). Apply and OK)
>>>>
>>>> Your mp3 player should show up as a HD drive in the Folders pane on the
>>>> left hand side, just underneath your CD/DVD player/recorder. Does it ?
>>>>
>>>> If it does not, then you need to change your USB cable and/or port.
>>>>
>>>> If it does, then click on the + symbol and open up the tree. You should
>>>> see, in some form or other, whether you have any mp3 files on the
>>>> player. If you don't, then you'll have to load them up again.
>>>>
>>>> If you do, then your player may need re-initialising to get rid of the
>>>> "Chinese" like writing. If so, then you'll have to re-install
>>>> everything.
>>>>
>>>> A bit vague, but then without knowing mdel/make etc of your mp3 player
>>>> its difficult to know what to do.
>>>>
>>>> Cheers,
