Failed Vista install. help me repair my boot!

I was installing it onto my 2nd HDD, which is why I think it failed. I wanted
to dual-boot to test it out. I guess it didn't like my drive as during the
install it popped up with a message that it was unable to locate the
partition and that it could not install.

The drive is an IDE drive with a converter to connect it to a SATA
connection. It doesn't appear to have installed any files on the drive.

All I want to do now is get rid of this message/option window

Hi,

You need to fix teh mbr on the active partition to point back to the older
bootloader. Assuming this is XP, you should boot the XP disk and load the
Recovery Console by hitting 'r' when first prompted. Logon to the existing
installation with an admin user account and run fixmbr, then fixboot from
the prompt. Exit the console, then remove the XP disk and restart the
machine. This should return you to the former bootloader.
