Re: fax answers every call!

You will need to state clearly exactly what fax software you are talking
about. How many fax programs did you install? This group does not support
third party fax software.

after I answer the phone. The only way to disable it, is to turn off the
computer or unplug the phone line going to the computer. I've gone into
"control panel" - "faxes and printers" - "properties" - "devices" and
unchecked "enable", it still answers. My friends who call and I are getting
anoyed. Can anyone help? And why are there three diffeent fax icons under
faxes. There is a "fax" icon, a "win fax" icon, and a "win fax photo
quality" icon. Do they all need to be turned off? Help, my computer is
