faxing

Can someone teach me how to fax fromwindows Vista.

I have HP fax/scan/printer all in one...5510xi. I have connected that to my
vista machine.

in Vistal fax I have composed a fax which has 5 scanned pages

In To section I have written 0119120xxxxxxx (this is international fax to
india)

when I said seend it is in the outbox for long time with status
pending...whats wrong and whats missing

Like any other fax software, WFS in Vista can only used an approved analog
fax modem attached to your PC's motherboard. You must use the software
supplied with your device. You cannot use WFS with an "all-in-one" printer.

Windows Fax and Scan is only available in Vista Ultimate, Business and
Enterprise.

Snappy Fax works well with Vista.

i have a laptop that has windows vista software and a 56 k fax/modem. i have
looked everywhere in this computer for the faxing software,can't find it.help!

Michael
FAX capability is not included in the Home editions of Vista. You will need to
source some software to provide fax capability.

You don't say what version of Vista you have, but if it's one of the
Home versions, it doesn't come with Fax software.

You need to tell people which version of VISTA you have since they
don't all have Fax & Scan incorporated.
