FILE FOLDER NAME CHANGE

when i try to change the name of one of my file folders,
it says that this folder is required for windows to run
properly and cannot be changed or renamed. however, i
NEED to change it and am wondering if anyone out there
knows some sort of secret as to how to go about doing
this. PLEASE HELP! thanks

What is the folder you are trying to change?

He said "Folder", not "file".
Folders do not have extensions.
