| ::I have windows defender set to autostart at boot. It is frustratingly refusing to do so.:: :::: : ownloaded autoruns to look at the auto start list, and while windowsdefender is definitely set to start at boot, there is a note saying the ..exe file is not found.:: :::: ::Interestingly, the security center says defender has loaded, even though I know it has not.:: :::: ::::Running vista home premium 64-bit.:::: :::: Any thoughts? | Hi 2nick, I'm having the same problem. When I click on the icon to run it I get '0x800106ba'. When a missing update tKB915597 tries to install I get 80070003. Deleting temporary files and renaming the SoftwareDistribution folder does not solve the problem. I'm still seaching. "2nickelstripper" wrote: Quote:
