Finding shared resources on XP VPN connection

Hi,

I've successfully connected to my Dad's pc over broadband
using VPN. How do i now find his shared folders etc...
I've searched for his computer name and ip address but it
says nothing find. I've searched everywhere but all I can
find is how to create and connect VPN, not then how to
find shared folders etc...

Help, this is driving me nuts!
