Fireball VPN Client, Linksys BEFVP41 router

Hi:

I used the Fireball VPN Client on my laptop to connect to my Linksys
BEFVP41 router at work. It connects fine with the router VPN log message
"KE[5] Set up ESP tunnel with 216.68.44.67 Success ! ". The Fireball VPN
on my laptop status says "Connected" with tunnel alive time. But when I
try to ping any pc behind the router using its nat address, I don't get
anything. Then I set up network vpn connection on the XP network
connections. No message is logged on the router vpn log and it times
out. What am I doing wrong?
