firefox more succesful

hi all

just wondering how much mileage everyone's getting with ie7 on vista 5472

seems like every page that chokes with ie7 works perfectly with firefox

hmm.........

IE and 5472 getting along great here!

try listening to the bbc with real player - no go in ie, but fine in
firefox....

IE 7 & 5472 works ok most of the time...but I get flashing on ie 7 and it
works perfectly on firefox and flock...

I get the flashing and wondered if it was something on the site - it's quite
annoying and can give a headache.
Good to know firefox works as I miss FF in Vista was trying to give IE7 a
fair chance but sometimes things just don't go according to plan
I have to put a site in the trusted zone to allow me to play Real files on
the BBC with the RelaPlayer plugin otherwise they don't work at all.

I may break my resolve soon to keep with IE7 as flashing is just one of the
glitches I don't have the same build still on 5384 guessing this may be even
worse with IE.

Prefer the security of Opera, Firefox has too many security exploits for
me. Working pretty well on 5472.

I've been a dedicated Opera user since Opera 5, and from what security
bulletins I have read lately (can't put my fingers on them, possibly
April/May/June of PC World Magazine) both Opera and Fire fox had about equal

Opera is considerably more secure than Firefox and IE. It currently has0
unpatched vunrabilities (the only one of the main 4 to be so), and it's
vunrability history is also very low. The stats:

Firefox doesn't support the protected mode so it's not good.

Wow...What an overly obvious attempt by one of the children to try to
convince everyone that firefox is better than ie...too bad he's about as
intelligent as a mule in the darkroom.

Firefox is the ONE browser that seems to have MORE holes than IE does. Oh,
and if I wanted a browser that got my mail, read my news, cooked my eggs and
offered widgets, I'd use Opera. Oh wait...I already use Opera.
