folder lost..

Posted: 02-03-2009, 11:16 AM

this happened around one year ago before i discovered this site.

one day i clicked on start and on the music tab.
then an error occurred.. it says that the file location cannot b
found

then i browsed 'my computer' there i saw that there are two file
separated
a file location with the icon of the music folder, and one with simpl
a folder icon.

after five days, same thing happened with the my documents folder.
the separate file with the folder icon contains every single file o
the "REAL" icon
while the other one has nothing in it.. same with the music icon.

why does this happen

kinda crappy explanation.. just give me a reply if there is somethin
you don't understand.. i just need to know what to do.  :cry

thank you.. :

Hello MAKNOT

Using METHOD THREE in the tutorial below, double check to make sur
that the folders have their default locations set to them

You would delete the long number entries in right pane EXCEPT for th
top {374D....} one as compared to the screen shot in the tutorial i
OPTION THREE under the Manual Method (step 5)
