| The shop where I bought my computer had entered a name in one of the files in "Documents & Settings". When I have tried to change the name , a message tells me that the name cannot be changed as it is a system folder. Is there any way in which I can change the name? | Guest

| Hi, You cannot change that folder name. And it was not the work of the shop where u bought the computer but the feature of the OS itself. it is used to save the settings on a per user basis. Regards M. Rajesh Quote:

| What is the name of the folder? If it is not All Users or Default User more than likely it is a user account. If you can't delete it or change the name as an administrator chances are there are services running under that account's profile. Go to Start/control panel/administrative tools/services and see if there are any services running under that folder name. Sort by Logon As jjs Quote:
