| I can't seem to get XP Pro to save the folder option "Underline Icon Titles when I point at them" for a LIMITED user account created through control panel. It always reverts to the alternative single click folder option of "underline icon titles consistent with my browser". I know I could change the intenet options Underline Links to either Never or Hover, but I don't need to do this for any administrator account which doesn;t have a problem saving this folder option. Checking the registry, the administrator accounts which save the option OK all have a key created when this option is set \HKEY_CURENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Currr entVersion\Explorer IconUnderline = 02 00 00 If the option is changed to "Underline Icon Titles consistent with my Browser" this value is changed to 03 00 00 There is a second key in the same location which is ShellState which has a bit flipped when changing from the double click to single click option. The first part of the value of this key is Double click option 24 00 00 00 38 ........ Single click options 24 00 00 00 18 The shell state part is changed ok for a limited user but for some reason the "UnderlineIcon" key never gets created. I would guess that xp then reverts to using the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\IconUn derline which is set to 03 00 00 giving the match browser option. Is there some policy I need to change to make this feature accessible to limited user accounts or is it a known problem. I have sp1 applied. Thanks for your time. Paul | Guest
