folder structure disappears in Windows Explorer after clicking folder

Posted: 01-08-2008, 07:15 PM

Dear all,

When I open Windows Explorer I see the regular folder structure on the
right side. (See pic)

However, when I click a folder (doesn't matter which one) the folder
structure disappears and I get only the clicked folder contents in the
window (in this case the folder "Drivers"). (see pic)

This is opposite how it worked on my computer with Windows XP.

Anyone an idea how to enable that I always see the folder structure in
the right window and that when I click a folder I see the contents in
the left window? could it be a registry setting or something in local
policies?

Thx!

John
