Font Wierdness

have been using the font "superior" on my promotional material for quite some time. for some reason after upgrading to cs2 this font no longer works in illustrator, or any cs2 app for that matter. it works fine in all ather apps but not cs2. it shows up fine in font managers or browsers and workd fine in pages and other apps.

ideas?
