That being said ... if for whatever reason the template associated with
the document changes, you'll probably find the doc get's changed. Some
organisations share normal.dot template on LAN ... which is NOT a good
idea for many reasons, this reason in particular.
Look closely and see what is controlling the formatting. Your direct
application of format to the text, or the document template.
