Default Freezing Vista

I have installed Vista, but the problem I am having now is that 3-5 min into
logging into my user the screen freezes and I can to absolutley nothing but
reboot. I have tried going in on safe mode and deleting old files that could
be the problem. I have also took the advice of fellow freezers but have
gotten no where. If anyone has any suggestions on how to thwart this
apocolyptic freezing please let me know.

PS. Please help.

Default RE: Freezing Vista

I'm having the same problem when logging in but only when i use a domain
profile. Are you trying to log on to a domain, or a local profile?

Default RE: Freezing Vista

It is freezing when logging into a local profile. It was good for around 10
min last night then out of no where just freezes. The computer isnt even
trying to process anything. I would say it's because of IE7 somehow but it
has frozen up before even loading that up. But local profile is where it is
happening.
