| I have granted access to two limited user accounts on my PC running Windows XP Pro. Games install correctly and icons etc appear on their accounts. When we try to run installed games within their accounts they do not run. Error messages appear saying they do not have rights of access to that game. I am now at a loss on how to give them access apart from allowing them be 'administrators' which I wish to avoid. Any useful suggestions to Vince@vtownsend.fsnet.co.uk please. Ta. | Guest

| Vince, check this information: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;307091 On Windows XP Pro, in your administrator-enabled account, you can (first) go into Control Panel/Folder Options/View tab and all the way at the bottom, remove the check mark from "Use simple file sharing (Recommended). OK your way out and then open Windows Explorer. Locate the folder in which the game is installed. To do this, right-click the link you use to launch the game, select Properties and then you'll see the path in the Target: line. Right-click the top folder where the game is installed and select Sharing and Security..., then you can go to the Security tab, highlight the user's name (even in the Limited account) in the top pane and give the needed permissions in the lower pane. This will give them the proper rights, without giving away the store. -- Chris H.
