Games not crisp after new video card...

Posted: 08-01-2003, 03:12 AM
I just had to replace my GeForce4 Ti4600 video card (with
the exact same kind) cuz it was acting up. But now after I
replaced it and installed all the newest drivers from both
Microsoft Update and Nvidia.com, when I play games like
Warcraft3 all the stuff in the minimap seems blurry, and
the opening menu video isn't crisp anymore. All my
settings in the game are at the Highest level and the
monitor/game resolutions match. If anyone knows anything
about this i'd appreciate it, thx.

Try changing the refresh rate around, some refresh rates for certain
resolutions on different types of monitors can make the screen look blurry,
especially high refresh rates.

Try turning down the anti-aliasing a level at a time until you're
satisfied... It can have adverse effects sometimes at higher settings.
When you put in your new card, the default settings were likely
different than the old settings for your old card. Additionally,
driver version may have some effect. Were new drivers installed
installed at the time you installed the new card?
