I have borrowed a Gamez USB Joypad, in the box says that
is Plug and Play, USB2.0 compatible, Windows XP
compatible, HID (Human Interface Device) compatible and
doesnīt need any drivers for installation. When I connect
it in my desktop with a Windows XP SP1a, doesn't
recognize it, my desktop has a Pentiun 4. But I tried in
another desktops that have Pentiun 3, and it works. Y was
thinking that maybe works in desktops that have Pentiun 3
and not in Pentiiun 4. I downloaded the USB drivers from
Intel and INF files, but it doesnīt works too. So maybe
you can explain me why Windows doesn't installs the
Joypad, and why it says that the USB port had a
malfunction with this device and get installed like an
Unknown Device in the Device Manager. I have connected
another USB devices, like mouses or web cams and work
fine. Also I disabled a option in the bios to deactivate
USB2.0 and work with USB1.1, and doesn't work either. So
please help me, maybe is still there a solution for this,
Christian
