Gaming in Vista 64 -bit

Posted: 01-17-2008, 10:00 AM
Hi,

A game my dad recently bought cannot be installed on his C drive, So I was
wondering if there was a way to install it on a seperate partition and
interact with it so I can play it.
He said to search for an answer to this question
If you have a primary partition, which partition can you use which will
interact with it. He said he thought the answer might be dynamic,
I dont have a clue so any help offered would be much appreciated!
thanks
Leanne

U didn't mention the name of game ,,,, may be ur PC facing space problem on
C ,,, otherwise no issue has been seen with vista 64 bit like this.
Vista 64 bit runs every game much smoothly as compared to 32 bit.

Right Click the setup.exe, Run As Adminstrator.
After installation, right click the short-cut, properties, run as admin.

Are there any other drive letters besides the C:, the A: (floppy) and the D:
(CD/DVD)?

If so you may already have another partition to use. In general when you
install software you can change the settings, sometimes by clicking
"advanced" or "custom" or something similar, to install in a different
place.

If you don't have another partition you can buy an external USB hard drive
for under $100 to install more software than will fit on the C: drive.
