Generic/Text driver...

Well, you have to contact the manufacturer of the printer and ask for a
programmer reference manual, they are not likely to corporate since this is old
technology. The best resource could be getting an EPSON programmer reference
manual, why? because they are the industry standard, every one was trying to
simulate their command. I think I might have such manual at home but I don't
have the time to search for it, even if I find it, it's going to be a hard copy
rather than electronic copy. If you find one in electronic copy, please send

For many printers, the printer manual with information on the command set is
available on the Internet, often from the printer maker's web site. If you
let us know the printer make and model, perhaps someone could suggest a
source.
