GENERIC TEXT DRIVER - XP

Posted: 10-14-2003, 09:05 AM
I am hoping someone can help,

I am wanting to print to a thermal receipt printer via the
generix text driver with XP. Problem - variable length
documents?? This was not a problem with 98 but it seems to
only accept the standard page size.

Also can anyone tell me how to define a new page size in
the generic driver or via another pathway?

Using the device options tab in the generic driver I can
insert functions such as a cut code for the receipt
printer. Has anyone had much experience with using
different excape sequences in the begin and end strings in
the driver? Any tips would also be appreciated

Cheers
