With a pc it has a hard drive. You don't need a ploppy anymore. Just turn it
on and go. The first time you start xp it walks you thru user setup. It's
simple just turn it on.

Have you tried Windows Explorer to look at your floppy drive, where
you'll likely see whatever it is that you are seeking on the disk that
is in that drive?

No, you'll not be notified, and no, most people will not send you e-mail
from a user group, for user groups are for public information, so a
reply _via_ e-mail would not help anyone other than the recipient
thereof. Furthermore, you may not want to use your real e-mail address
in user groups, as that may be an invitation to spam.
