| The friend who set up my computer options for me set it up with two profiles: one for me and one for my roommate. But my roommate has his own computer and doesn't need mine anymore. It was easy to eliminate the Robert profile from the logon screen, but now there's only ONE - mine. It would be great to tell XP somehow to automatically choose that so that my bootup would take my right to my desktop without that unnecessary stop. Any ideas? Thanks! | Guest

| Hi Milo, Type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 at Start>Run.. In the user accounts dialog box that comes up next, uncheck "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer". Hit apply and provide the username and password information in the next dialog box. -- Anando Microsoft-MVP for Windows XP Know more about the MVP program- http://mvp.support.microsoft.com Indian MVPs- http://www.microsoft.com/india/mvp/indiamvp.aspx "Milo" <alternate@improVentures.com> wrote in message news:012901c340b6$f61df5d0$a301280a@phx.gbl...
