gforce 5200 not working

download the latest drivers, windows detect it and i'm able to run vista but
my tv out is not detect...what can i do before buying a new card.

Don't use the latest drivers since the ones that came with VISTA RTM arebest for the 5xxx cards.
You need to go back to the the 96.85 drivers. See the following:
