Graphic problems with certain games

I have recently upgraded to XP and am having a problem
with some games. I'm really into retro games, from the
mid to late ninetys, and some remakes and have the
following games installed:

Grand Theft Auto
Rogue Squadron 3D
Remake of Bruce Lee from the Commodore 64
A-10 Cuba

And Both Rogue Squadron and the Bruce Lee remake, flicker
horribly, and with Rogue Squadron, the graphics sometimes
garble for about 1/2 second. I have tried uninstalling my
SiS 530 graphics drivers and reinstalling, and also tried
adjusting my frame rate, neither work, any ideas?
