H E L P: No Printout via LAN Print Server

The Problem:
I cannot print via my LAN Print Server - print job does not appear in
spooler. The HP printer works if connected direct to a PC USB port.

I have XP Pro SP2 installed on all PCs/Laptops in my Linksys LAN/WLAN.
Attached to the router is an Iomega HDD StorCenter with an integrated USB
Print Server to which I connected a HP ColorLaser. All firewalls, MAC filters
etc are off. I have full admin permissions.

The PCs are within MSHOME the HDD in WORKGROUP. I can access the HDD and I
am able to map directories. In the HDD rout directory I see the Print Server
printers Printer1 and Printer2.

Via Printers and Faxes > Add Printer I can add the Print Server printers.
Property settings are:
Sharing: off
Ports: \\Iomega-xxxx\Printer1
Bidirectional enabled
Advanced: Always available / print immediately

If I try to print a test page, the print job goes somwehere, no error
message. The print job does not appear in the spooler list.

I contact Iomega on a daily basis, their support stuff just say it should
work. HP and Linksys say not our problem.

Before I return the Iomega HDD I need to know if it is an XP issue.
