Hi, I Tried to play HL2 and everything was realy dark. I changed the settingon my moniter and HL2 to try to fix it but it didnt help. This doesnt happen
in other games like Simpsons.

I am having no problem with running Vista 64bit. Just wondering have updownloaded all the updates for the game? I could not get it to play right
till I had all the updates done.

I checked, and I guss its up to date bcs I have it set to keep it up to dateand there is no button that i can find for a manual update.

You have to check through Steam that is the program that will run the updateand tell you if it up to date.

mmmmOk I can think of one issue. Have you updated your drivers for your video
and monitor? I know your other games are fine but I am just wondering if
it might be a driver issue that HL2 is not liking.
